Susie Wingate
Camp Director

Susie is the founder of CBI Services which started in September 2021. She has been providing group, individual, and consulting services since launching the business. The group sessions have allowed her clients the opportunity to integrate into the community, socialize, explore, and learn along the way. This is what the summer camp will offer and much more! Susie is always seeking and creating new opportunities for her clients and continues to build a social network for each individual. This is the very fist summer camp for CBI Services!

Words from Susie:
"This summer I am looking forward to working with former students as well as meeting new students. I am also very excited to work with the camp leaders that are my former Torrey Pines Colleagues and Peer Tutor. This group of camp leaders bring the credentials and years of experience working with individuals with disabilities. It is a dynamic team! In my free time, I love to hang out with my son and husband. We like to go to the beach, parks, zoo, playgrounds, and all of the other fun places little kids like to go to in San Diego. Words that I live by are "Don't give up the ship." These are the words that my grandma and I would say to one another at the end of every conversation we would have. It's what keeps me going each and every day!"
